Onion White Sweet Spanish Seeds
Info: A rare specialty from Spain with medium sized, bulbous shaped, very sweet, white onions. The sweet, mild taste is especially suitable as a bread cover. The shell is well formed and lies very tightly around the rings. This will keep the onion very long. The variety is also known under the name White Utah Jumbo.
Sowing & cultivation: The sowing can take place from March to April and sows thinly in rows. The seeds should be covered with earth in ca. 2-fold seed starch, well pressed and moist. After germination the seedlings can be separated. Do not store for winter until the foliage is completely mature. The sowing should take place on a loose, strong soil which is not pre-fertilized. The harvest can take place from September
