Pumpkin Connecticut Field Seeds

Info: The pumpkin `Connecticut Field` is THE typical Halloween pumpkin for carving, as the shell is quite soft. In the US, it is one of the most grown pumpkins and is eaten especially on Thanksgiving. The fruits weigh up to 10 kg, have a bright orange colour, are round and taste mild and nutty. Long storage ability.

Sowing & cultivation: Pumpkin plants need a lot of space as creeping plants and a good nutrient supply. The soil should therefore be profound and nutritious. From mid-May can be sown directly into the open field. Depending on the variety a plant needs up to 2m² of space. Abundant irrigation is very important, especially in the beginning.
