Strawberry Alexandria Seeds
Info: Strawberry `Alexandria` is an alpine heirloom, excellently suited for cooler and high altitude climates. Alexandria produces loads of little red strawberries that are bursting with flavour and that are much sweeter than the traditional commercially grown strawberries. The plants have a compact growth with few runners making them excellent for rock gardens, pots and pathways.
Sowing & cultivation: Sow in Autumn or Spring at a maximum of 5°C. Cover seeds only lightly with soil. Strawberries do not like wet roots, preferring a well-drained site with a preferably slightly acid, medium loam. They tolerate shade but thrive in sunshine. To avoid diseases, you should plant strawberries in a 3-year-cycle at new locations in the garden
