Piment d`Espelette chilli is a traditional and extremely aromatic variety from the Espelette region 50 km east of Biarritz at the foot of the Pyrenees in the French Basque Country. Professional and amateur chefs and gourmets all over the world appreciate the typical flavour of Piment d`Espelette, which is mainly dried and processed into the famous aromatic powder in the region where it is grown. In France, piment d`Espelette is also used to flavour jams and mustard.
