Ingredients (for 2 people):
- 200 g beef fillet (if possible, sirloin steak)
- Steak pepper
- 6 Nori sheets
- 200 g Sushi rice
- 2 green Jalapeño chillies
Chili powder in your desired level of spiciness (Our suggestions: Cayenne powder, Tabasco powder, Habanero powder)
Preparation:
1. Fry meat 2-3 minutes on each side (medium!) + season with steak pepper
2. Cut meat into narrow strips
3. Cook sushi rice + leave to cool
4. Cut Jalapenos into thin slices
5. Distribute the rice onto the Nori sheets + put the beef strips and Jalapeno slices on top, roll the sheets up and cut them into approx. 2 cm thick pieces
6. The Nori sheets can easily be moistened with water if necessary and "turned" in chili powder.
Dip:
- 4 tbsp. Sambal Oelek
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- A pinch of Cinnamon
- A pinch of chili powder in your desired level of spiciness
Simply mix everything together thoroughly.
