Info: The traditional French bean "The Prince" produces uniform, long and slender pods. They are, when harvested as young vegetables, threadless. This treasured strain has a balanced, aromatic taste and is the ideal source of vitamins A and C. Can be prepared as a delicious bean salad or vegetable accompaniment for hearty meat dishes.

Sowing & cultivation: The sowing should be about 3 cm deep. Press seeds and cover with soil. For row sowing the distance shoould be 40 cm with a grain spacing of 6 - 8 cm. When sown as a pit sowing, the distances are 30cm at 5-7 seeds per planting site. Sow the beans in humus-rich, well-drained garden soil in a warm, sheltered, sunny to partially shaded place with even moisture. If necessary, separate. The stability of the plants is improved by sowing in clumps.
