Ace 55 Tomato Seeds
Info: The Ace 55 tomato originates from the USA and is a robust, resistant and high-yielding bush tomato. This variety is resistant to Fusarium and Verticillium. The plants grow up to approx. 75 - 100 cm and the shoots do not need to be pinched off. The round fruits are medium-sized (150 - 200 g) and deep red, have a burst-resistant skin and little acidity. Their cut and burst resistance make these tomatoes ideal salad tomatoes, but they are also good for boiling down to make ketchup or conserves.
Care: You can grow the Ace 55 tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 18 and 24°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
