Brandywine Yellow Tomato Seeds
Info: The Brandywine Yellow tomato is one of the most delicious varieties of yellow tomato. It belongs to the Brandywine tomato family from the USA, which is characterised by its intense fruity flavour. The high-yielding plants develop juicy, flat-round, golden yellow beefsteak tomatoes with a thin skin which can weigh up to 400g. They are not only delicious when consumed fresh, but are also great as decoration in salads or buffets. The plants grow up to approx. 100 - 120cm, are high yielding, robust and tolerant of the cold, and produce fruits even at low temperatures.
Care: You can grow the Brandywine Yellow tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
