Czech Bush Tomato Seeds
Info: The Czech Bush tomato is a bushy growing early tomato variety from the Czech Republic. It produces many red, round, approx. 100 g fruits, so while it is a bush tomato, it can be necessary to support the individual side shoots. The tomatoes are flavourful with little acidity and are suitable as salad tomatoes (cut-resistant) and for fresh consumption. As the plants don`t grow particularly large, they are also good for cultivation in pots on the balcony or terrace.
Care: You can grow the Czech Bush tomatoes inside the house, in a greenhouse or outdoors. The optimal germination temperature is between 20 and 25°C, and germination occurs after 8 - 14 days. You can speed up the germination process if you leave the seeds to soak overnight in a damp cloth. You should wait until after the last frost to plant your chosen plants.
Tomatoes need fresh, well-fertilised, permeable soil which is kept moist (but not wet!). They should be planted in a sunny, protected place with at least 6 hours of sunlight - preferably more.
