Hoisin Sauce
The sweet and spicy, dark hoisin sauce is a classic from Chinese, or more precisely Cantonese and also Vietnamese cuisine. It is made from fermented soybeans, sugar, garlic and Chinese spices and is mainly used with meat. For example, it gives Peking duck its characteristic aroma, but it also goes very well with pork.
Hoisin sauce is also excellent for stir-fried dishes, as a meat marinade for barbecues or as a dip for crisps, French fries and nuggets.
Without flavour enhancers, preservatives and colourings. Suitable for vegetarians and vegans.
