Tikka Masala Paste
Patak`s Tikka Masala spice paste is a wonderfully balanced blend of aromatic spices such as paprika, cumin and coriander for a delicious tikka masala curry.
The paste is relatively mild and round in flavour, the mild heat beautifully balanced. It is particularly suitable for chicken and turkey and aromatic vegetables such as peppers, okra, onions, chard and potatoes.
It is very easy to prepare: simply add to the meat and vegetables, sauté briefly, then add a little water or coconut milk and simmer until everything is cooked. That`s it.
Pure, this paste has a heat level of 2-3, but if you dilute it in the dish with coconut milk or water, the dishes will then only have a mild heat. The paste is very rich, for a dish for 2 people you only need about 2-3 tsp.
