Patak`s Vindaloo Spice Paste is an authentic blend of aromatic spices including chilli and coriander for a beautifully balanced vindaloo dish.
Originally, vindaloo is a spicy curry dish from Goa that is a mixture of Portuguese and Indian cooking traditions. It is often cooked with pork or chicken.
It is very easy to prepare: simply add to the meat and vegetables, sauté briefly, then add a little water or coconut milk and simmer until everything is cooked. That`s it.
Pure, this paste has a heat level of 3, but if you dilute it in the dish with coconut milk or water, the dishes will then only have a heat of 1 - 2. The paste is very rich, for a dish for 2 people you only need about 2-3 tsp.
